Virtual School Occupational Therapist - Part-Time (Oklahoma)

This part-time role allows you to work with students to improve their motor skills, sensory processing, and overall functional abilities in a virtual environment.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Part-time, approximately 10 hours per week

• Contract Type: 1099 contract

• Professional Liability Insurance: Required upon offer

• Duration: Immediate start through the end of the school year

• Caseload: K-12 students; specifics will be shared during the interview

• Pay Range: Competitive; based on experience and interview

Responsibilities:

• Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate students' motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living abilities.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.

• Deliver engaging and effective virtual therapy sessions using evidence-based practices.

• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to enhance students' functional and academic performance.

• Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.

• Maintain detailed documentation of therapy sessions and student outcomes.

• Support teachers and staff with strategies to promote student engagement in a virtual learning environment.

• Stay updated on best practices and trends in occupational therapy and virtual education.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Oklahoma.

• National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification.

• Experience in a school-based setting preferred.

• Proficiency in using virtual platforms for therapy.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
