We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Virtual School Psychologist to join our team and provide essential support to students in the state of Colorado within a virtual learning environment.
As a Virtual School Psychologist, you will play a vital role in promoting the well-being and academic success of students by addressing their emotional, behavioral, and educational needs through virtual platforms while adhering to Colorado state regulations and guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations, following Colorado state guidelines and requirements, to identify students' academic, emotional, and behavioral strengths and challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans, ensuring appropriate accommodations and support, in accordance with Colorado state laws.
- Assist in the development and implementation of virtual positive behavior support programs and interventions, following Colorado state guidelines and best practices.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of student assessments, counseling sessions, and interventions in compliance with Colorado state regulations.
Qualifications:
- Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Colorado state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect and build rapport with students, parents, and educators in a virtual environment while adhering to Colorado state guidelines.
- Familiarity with special education processes and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) specific to Colorado state requirements.
