Job Title: Virtual School Psychologist K-5 Full-Time (New Mexico)
Job Description: We are working with a school district in New Mexico who is searching for a Remote School Psychologist to fill a vacancy they have for the remainder of the school year. We are looking for a dedicated professional who is passionate about supporting students' mental health, well-being, and academic success.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct virtual psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, social-emotional, and behavioral functioning.
• Provide virtual counseling and guidance services to students, addressing their social-emotional needs and promoting positive mental health.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and intervention plans for students.
• Assist in the development and implementation of behavior intervention strategies and support plans.
Position Details:
• Full-time position.
• Caseload: Elementary school
• Full capability of working from home.
• Weekly Pay.
Qualifications:
• Master's Degree in School Psychology or a related field.
• Valid New Mexico state certification as a School Psychologist, or willingness to obtain before the start date.
• Knowledge of evidence-based interventions and strategies for supporting students' mental health and learning.
• Familiarity with virtual platforms and technology for conducting remote assessments and counseling sessions.
