Virtual School Psychologist

Location: Ohio (Remote)
Job Type: Full-Time - Work From Home
Pay: $48/Hour

Key Responsibilities:
Assessment and Evaluation:

Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, and socio-emotional development.
Interpret assessment results to develop appropriate intervention plans.
Provide diagnostic information and recommend interventions for students with learning and behavioral challenges.

Intervention and Counseling:

Offer individual and group counseling sessions to students experiencing emotional, social, or behavioral difficulties.
Develop and implement evidence-based intervention strategies to address students' needs.
Monitor and adjust interventions based on students' progress and changing needs.

Consultation and Collaboration:

Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to create effective support plans for students.
Provide consultation to school staff on psychological and educational issues affecting students.
Participate in virtual meetings, such as IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and other student support meetings.

Crisis Intervention:

Respond to and provide support during crisis situations, including risk assessments and crisis intervention plans.
Offer guidance and resources to school staff and families during crises.

Qualifications:
Education:

Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field from an accredited institution.

Certification:

Valid Ohio School Psychologist license.
Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) credential preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a school psychologist, with experience in a virtual or online educational setting preferred.
Proficiency in conducting virtual assessments and using digital tools for remote counseling and intervention.
