Position Details:

• Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time (1099 Contract)
• Start Date: Immediate openings available
• Caseload: PreK-12th grade (specific details provided during the interview)
• Pay Rate: $40 - $47 per hour (based on experience)
• Location: 100% remote – work from anywhere within the U.S.
• Requirement: Must hold a Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Work Endorsement

Primary Responsibilities:

As a Remote School Social Worker, you will:

• Conduct virtual counseling sessions to support students with emotional, social, and behavioral challenges.
• Develop individualized intervention plans to address students' mental health and academic needs.
• Provide crisis intervention and emotional support for students facing hardships.
• Participate in IEP and 504 meetings, contributing expertise to support student success.
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and parents to create a positive learning environment.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student needs and develop action plans.
• Maintain detailed records of student progress and interventions in compliance with school and state regulations.
• Train and provide resources to teachers and staff on best practices for supporting student well-being.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited university
• Licensure: Active Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Work Endorsement (Required)
• Experience: Minimum of two years in a school-based setting (preferred)
• Technology Skills: Familiarity with virtual platforms for remote counseling (training provided)
• Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities
• Work Environment: Must have a quiet, professional space with a reliable high-speed internet connection
