Virtual School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)


Location: Oregon, USA (Remote)
Job Type: Fulltime, School Year Contract - Work From Home
Pay: $47/Hour


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to students' specific needs and goals.
  • Provide virtual therapy sessions using telecommunication technology, maintaining a high level of engagement and interaction with students.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support students' speech and language development within the virtual learning environment.
  • Monitor and track students' progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary to ensure continued growth.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and communication with stakeholders.
  • Participate in virtual team meetings, professional development opportunities, and continuing education to enhance skills and knowledge in the field.
  • Adhere to ethical and professional standards outlined by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and relevant state regulations.


Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid Oregon state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP.
  • ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Previous experience working as an SLP in a school setting, preferably with experience in teletherapy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage students in a virtual environment.
  • Proficiency in utilizing telecommunication technology and digital therapy platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a virtual team environment.
