In this role, you will support a diverse student population in overcoming communication barriers and reaching their full potential. Collaborate with educators, parents, and professionals to create tailored education plans (IEPs) and provide personalized therapy sessions.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose speech, language, and fluency issues; build and roll out individualized IEPs.
• Offer direct therapy services, check progress, and switch things up if needed.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to help kids thrive.
• Conduct evaluations, stay organized with records, and attend team planning sessions.
• Advocate for students, provide staff training, and keep growing professionally.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorder, or related field
• Alabama Teaching Certification required
• Alabama SLP license required
• ASHA CCC-SLP Certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with communication disorders
• Experience providing virtual therapy services is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Fast/reliable computer & internet connection 
  • No Chromebooks/tablets permitted

• Guaranteed Weekly Hours
• Hourly Rate: $40-$45
  • Hourly rate consistent across direct/indirect hours/planning periods
