VocoVision is currently recruiting for a remote Special Education Teacher position in the Kansas City, Missouri area. This unique opportunity allows you to work as an independent contractor, offering you the flexibility to teach from the comfort of your home while positively impacting the lives of students. To be considered for this role, individuals should have a minimum of two years of prior experience in an educational setting.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assess the individual needs, strengths, and challenges of students, creating personalized education plans.
• Manage the development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to meet each student's specific requirements.
• Engage in virtual IEP meetings with parents and school staff, focusing on individual student IEPs.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate students' progress, making necessary adjustments as required.

Qualifications:

• Hold a Master s Degree in Special Education.
• Possess Special Education certification in the state of Missouri.
• Have a minimum of two years of prior Special Education experience.
• Maintain professional liability insurance coverage.

Additional Information:

• Our contracts are structured as 1099 independent contractor agreements.
• Full-time contracted hours (details below).
• A commitment of 37.5 hours per week for direct and indirect services.
