VocoVision is looking to fill interviews for a remote Special Education Teacher position in the Philadelphia, PA area. This unique opportunity allows you to work as an independent contractor, granting you the freedom to teach from the comfort of your home while positively impacting the lives of students. To be considered for this role, candidates should possess a minimum of two years of prior experience in an educational setting.

Responsibilities:

Evaluate the individual needs, strengths, and challenges of students, crafting personalized education plans.
Oversee the development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to meet each student's specific requirements.
Engage in virtual IEP meetings with parents and school staff, focusing on individual student IEPs.
Continuously monitor and assess students' progress, making adjustments as necessary.

Qualifications:

Hold a Master s Degree in Special Education.
Possess Special Education certification in the state of Pennsylvania.
Have at least two years of prior Special Education experience.
Maintain professional liability insurance coverage.

Additional Information:

Our contracts are structured as 1099 independent contractor agreements.
Full-time contracted hours (details below).
A commitment of 37.5 hours per week for direct and indirect services.
