Overview

VocoVision is now hiring a Special Education Teacher (K-12) that can incorporate and implement a fun and engaging instructional program within an online environment. Aside from planning, organizing, and following day to day academic guidelines, our Special Education teacher will be encouraging their students to develop and thrive to their full potential.


Summary

Role and Responsibilities

• Organize and administer individualized and group educational plans and programs
• Provide ongoing and monthly evaluations of student s progress and make recommendations addressing any areas of curriculum areas that may need improvement
• Develop and maintain a professional relationship with parents/guardians to inform them of their student s progress
• Participate in IEP meetings

Education and Experience

• Master's degree required
• Required South Dakota State License
• Experience in a remote school setting preferred
• Part Time or Full Time Availability
• Responsible for own tech equipment
