Minimum Requirements:
- School-based working experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in Maryland
Job Description:
- Conduct speech and language screenings and evaluations, analyze results, and write reports outlining the student's strength and concerns in the areas of speech and language
- Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to best suit the child's functional communication needs
- Provide high-quality direct speech therapy services in individual and small group settings in accordance to the child's IEP
- Assist teachers and staff in identifying and referring children who exhibit suspected delays and impairments in speech and language
- Collect and monitor student progress for timely completion of progress reports and billing
- Maintain detailed log of services, student attendance, and communication with families
- Attend meetings virtually to collaborate with parents and teachers regarding provision of services and accommodations
