Virtual School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)


Location: Missouri, United States (Remote)

Pay: $42/Hour


As a Virtual School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you will play a crucial role in supporting the communication and language development of students enrolled in our virtual school programs across Missouri. You will provide virtual speech and language therapy services, assessments, and consultations to students, parents, and educators, ensuring that each student receives the individualized support they need to succeed academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication skills.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's specific needs and goals.
  • Provide virtual speech and language therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques and practices.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support students' academic and social progress.
  • Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Provide guidance and support to parents and caregivers on strategies for promoting speech and language development at home.
  • Stay abreast of current research and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology.
  • Participate in professional development activities and training sessions as required by state regulations and company policies.


Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Missouri state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience working with school-aged children with a variety of speech and language disorders.
  • Strong understanding of virtual therapy platforms and technology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a virtual environment.
  • Commitment to providing culturally responsive and inclusive services to diverse student populations.
