Virtual - Speech-Language Pathologist -North Carolina 2023 School Year

VocoVision is seeking a Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join an amazing school in North Carolina. VocoVision aims to make this transition as seamless as possible by providing the software, training, and access to a team of highly qualified clinicians. We are dedicated to enhancing communication skills and positively impacting the lives of our students.

As a Virtual SLP, you will assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with communication and swallowing disorders in a virtual school environment. You will work with a diverse range of clients, utilizing teletherapy technology to deliver therapy services remotely. Your responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities through online platforms.
Developing personalized treatment plans based on assessment results and client goals.
Providing virtual therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques and strategies.
Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to support integrated treatment plans.
Monitoring client progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
Educating clients, families, and caregivers on communication and swallowing strategies for carryover outside of therapy sessions.
Maintaining accurate documentation of evaluations, progress reports, and treatment plans in accordance with regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Current or eligible licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in North Carolina.
Experience working with diverse populations and communication disorders.
Knowledge of assessment and treatment techniques for speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and professionals.
Ability to manage caseloads and work independently.
