Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist Opportunity Florida

VocoVision is collaborating with a school district in Florida that is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist for the current school year. The selected professional will work remotely, delivering both direct and indirect services through a robust online platform. VocoVision provides all the necessary software, training, and technical support to ensure success for the clinician, students, and the school district.

Education:

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply

License:

• Licensed SLP in Florida

Experience:

• At least 2 years of recent school-based experience
• Proficiency with IEPs

Job Type and Responsibilities:

• Contract position

• Participate in IEP meetings to share crucial data for determining students’ needs.
• Work with the IEP team to develop goals, objectives, aids, accommodations, and services to ensure compliance with FAPE.
• Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor student progress.
• Regularly review and communicate student progress to parents and the IEP team.
• Collaborate with students’ teachers to ensure access to the general education curriculum and interaction with typically developing peers. Maintain and communicate the therapy schedule in alignment with the IEP.
