VocoVision is excited to announce a partnership with a leading school district in Indiana, seeking to hire a remote Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the rest of the 2024-2025 school year. Candidates must have prior experience in educational settings to qualify for this role. There is no residency requirement in Indiana; however, you must hold licenses for both your home state and Indiana.
Position Overview:
- Full-time commitment for the 2024-2025 school year
- 40 hours per week
- Focus on an elementary school caseload
- Hourly compensation: $49-$54 based on virtual experience, paid weekly
- Responsibilities include both direct and indirect services
- This is an independent contractor position
- Professional liability insurance will be required upon hiring
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct remote evaluations, assessments, and diagnoses related to speech, voice, hearing, and language challenges.
- Create personalized intervention plans to support each student’s communication, language development, articulation, and social skills in a virtual environment.
- Work collaboratively online with educators and other school personnel to implement effective interventions.
Required Experience:
- At least two years of experience in a school-based role is essential.
Certifications Needed:
- Indiana Speech-Language Pathologist License
- Indiana teaching certification from the Indiana Department of Education
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state clearances (including background checks, fingerprints, TB tests if applicable)
