Position Overview: We are actively seeking dedicated Virtual Speech Language Pathologists licensed in North Carolina to join our network. As a Virtual SLP, you will utilize our state-of-the-art platform to conduct assessments, provide therapy, and support clients remotely.
Location: Remote (must be licensed in North Carolina)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual assessments, evaluations, and interventions to diagnose and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to client needs and goals.
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques and strategies via our secure teletherapy platform.
- Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate closely with clients, families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to optimize therapy outcomes.
- Provide education and guidance to families/caregivers to support therapy goals.
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program.
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in North Carolina (CCC-SLP preferred).
- ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing Speech Language Pathologist, with proficiency in teletherapy highly desirable.
- Technologically savvy with proficiency in teletherapy platforms and electronic documentation systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively in a remote setting.
- Critical thinking skills and ability to independently manage caseloads.
