Virtual Speech Therapist Position | Washington Schools
Vocovision has partnered with a Washington School District looking for a full-time and part-time, remote Speech Language Pathologist to provide services to K-12 students in the upcoming school year. The therapist will provide assessments, treatment sessions, and participate in meetings over a teletherapy platform.
License and Certification
- ASHA-CCCs
- Washington State SLP License
- Washington Teaching Certification
Education and Experience
- Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology
- At least two years of school-based experience (some exceptions apply)
Responsibilities
- Engage students in goal planning, monitoring of progress, and self-advocacy.
- Evaluate and diagnose levels of speech, language and swallowing difficulty.
- Engage parent or guardian in program implementation and decision making.
- Conduct assessments to identify communication disorders.
- Provide instruction and intervention based on the assessment results.
- Develop IEPs based on student evaluations and assessments.
- Communicate with school administration and general education teachers to facilitate progress in the classroom.
