Remote Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) - VocoVision
If you are a certified Teacher of the Visually Impaired looking to work from home, VocoVision offers an exciting remote teaching opportunity! You will provide specialized online services to students in PreK-12, utilizing live video conferencing to enhance their education. VocoVision offers comprehensive software and technical support to help you succeed.

Position Details:

• Employment: 1099 Independent Contractor
• Student Caseload: PreK-12
• Full-Time

Who We’re Looking For:

• A Master’s degree in Visual Impairments Education or related field
• State-issued certification in teaching visual impairments
• Experience working with visually impaired students
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
• Bilingual skills are highly desirable

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver virtual lessons, conduct assessments, and provide support
• Develop and implement educational plans and accommodations
• Collaborate with other educators, families, and support teams to ensure success

Technical & Contractual Requirements:

• Must provide liability insurance
• Own a computer with high-speed internet
• Must be comfortable with independent contractor status
• Successfully pass a technical screening
