Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Virtual Teacher for Visually Impaired Students to provide engaging and tailored instruction that meets the unique needs of each learner. In this role, you will leverage adaptive technology and innovative teaching strategies to foster an inclusive virtual classroom that promotes academic achievement and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement customized lesson plans aligned with individual learning goals.
• Utilize adaptive technologies and tools to enhance the educational experience for visually impaired students.
• Conduct virtual classes via video conferencing platforms, ensuring accessibility for all participants.
• Assess and track student progress, offering constructive feedback and support.
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and fellow educators to build a supportive learning community.
• Engage in professional development opportunities and team meetings to enhance teaching practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field; Master’s degree is preferred.
• Valid teaching certification in Virginia and prior experience with visually impaired students.
• Strong knowledge of adaptive technologies and instructional tools for visually impaired learners.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
