VocoVision is hiring certified Teachers of the Visually Impaired to provide remote instruction and support to students in grades PreK-12. Using live videoconferencing and specialized software, you’ll deliver high-quality educational services from the comfort of your home.

Position Details:

Type: Independent Contractor (1099)
Student Group: Preschool through Grade 12
Commitment: Full-Time

Who You Are:

A Master’s degree holder in Visual Impairments Education or equivalent
Certified to teach students with visual impairments in your state
Experienced in delivering effective instruction to visually impaired students
A team player with excellent communication skills
Bilingual candidates welcome

Responsibilities:

Teach, assess, and provide accommodations for visually impaired students virtually
Collaborate with families and staff to meet individual student goals
Develop and follow personalized learning plans

Technology & Contracting Requirements:

Own liability and general insurance
Tech-savvy with a home setup that includes high-speed internet
Able to operate as an independent contractor
