Vision Teacher (TVI) - Online Teaching Opportunity

Skilled Vision Teachers that are willing to get licensed in an additional state are encouraged to apply!

The Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVIs) will be responsible for using adaptive equipment, orientation & mobility instruction, low vision equipment adaptation, knowledge of UEB (new braille system), and facilitating IEP meetings. You are the liaison between parents, teachers, ophthalmologist, & their community. Clinical and technical training will be provided prior to starting the position.

Full-time preferred; Part-Time accepted
24 - 33.5 hours weekly

QUALIFICATIONS

License as TVI
Willing to get licensed in Pennsylvania OR North Carolina
Licensed in state of residence
If needed - ability to attain additional Certifications
