Washington Occupational Therapist - Work From Home

A school district in Washington has partnered with VocoVision to source a remote Occupational Therapist for the current school year. As a School Occupational Therapist, you will work with students in the district with service minutes on their IEPs, as well as students that need testing for eligibility and accommodations. This is a remote position, allowing you to provide valuable services to students while enjoying the flexibility of working from home. You will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to help students achieve their goals and participate fully in the educational process.

Job Details:

• Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
• Fully Remote
• 1099 Contract Position
• Must be able to pass a tech screen

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to determine students' occupational therapy needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and goals for students.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services through virtual sessions.
• Monitor and document student progress and adjust intervention plans as needed.
• Collaborate with educators and parents to support the integration of therapy goals into the classroom.
• Attend virtual meetings and communicate regularly with the educational team.
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records.
• Stay current with best practices in occupational therapy and special education.

Qualifications:

• Valid Washington state Occupational Therapist license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for virtual interactions.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
• Proficiency in using technology for remote therapy sessions.
• Commitment to student success and a passion for helping children thrive.
