Vocovision is seeking a talented Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work remotely and help make a positive impact on the lives of students within a Washington School District.

Job Overview: Vocovision is are looking to schedule interviews for a Remote Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive speech and language services to K-12 students within the district. As a remote SLP, you will work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to assess, diagnose, and treat students with communication disorders or delays.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • State license to practice as an SLP in Washington.
  • Washington Teaching Certification.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required.
  • Two years of previous experience as an SLP, preferably in a school setting.
  • Strong assessment and diagnostic skills to evaluate students' communication abilities.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
  • Diagnose and classify communication disorders, such as articulation disorders, language disorders, fluency disorders, and voice disorders.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on students' specific needs and goals.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students remotely using evidence-based practices and appropriate therapeutic techniques.
  • Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
  • Conduct virtual meetings and consultations with parents and caregivers to provide guidance, education, and support.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students receiving speech-language services.


Working Conditions: This is a remote position, allowing you to work from your preferred location as long as you have an active Washington State SLP licensure.

The position is full-time, following the standard school district schedule.
