WFH Speech Language Pathologist - Starting in December
Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) Opportunity – Pennsylvania
December 2024 to June 2025 (Possible Extension) – VocoVision
VocoVision is seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to join our remote team, providing virtual speech therapy services to students in Pennsylvania. This flexible, remote position allows you to work with K-12 students and help them overcome speech and language challenges, fostering their academic success and personal development.
Position Highlights:
- Work Schedule: Flexible full-time and part-time options available
- Remote Role: Conduct therapy and assessments virtually from the comfort of your home
- Caseload: Work with students of varying age groups and speech needs
- Contract Type: Independent contractor (1099)
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Virtual Therapy: Provide remote speech therapy sessions, customizing approaches to meet each student's individual needs
- Assessments & Evaluations: Conduct virtual speech and language assessments to identify and address communication challenges
- Collaboration: Partner with educators, parents, and school staff to create personalized plans to support students' academic and personal goals
- Behavioral Support: Develop strategies to address communication disorders and related behavioral challenges
What We’re Looking For:
- Educational Background: A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Certifications: ASHA-certified (CCC-SLP), and must be eligible for or hold a Pennsylvania state license to practice
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience, preferably in a school-based or pediatric setting
- Skills: Strong communication and collaboration abilities to engage effectively with students, parents, and school teams
- Tech Savvy: Comfort using virtual platforms for therapy and assessments (Zoom, online therapy tools, etc.)
