Position Summary

VocoVision is excited to collaborate with a school district in the Tomahawk area to recruit skilled remote Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for the upcoming academic year. Important Note: Residency in Wisconsin is not required, but candidates must have valid licenses in both their home state and Wisconsin.

Job Specifications

Type of Employment: Full-time for all roles (2024-2025 School Year)
Start Date: Immediate availability
Caseloads Available:
- 52 students for the remainder of the year, supported by a facilitator.
- 45 students during FMLA leave until the end of November.
- 20-25 students from November 4 to December 13 due to FMLA leave.
Hourly Wage: $45-$50, paid weekly, includes both direct and indirect services
Contract Type: Independent contractor
Insurance Requirement: Professional liability insurance must be obtained upon hiring

Key Duties

Conduct remote assessments and evaluations for various speech, voice, hearing, and language disorders.
Create individualized intervention plans that cater to the specific needs of students, focusing on communication, language development, articulation, and social skills.
Collaborate with teachers and other school personnel to effectively implement intervention strategies.

Qualifications Needed

Experience: Minimum of two years in a school-based setting is required.
Licensure:
- Must hold a valid Wisconsin Speech-Language Pathologist License from the DSPS.
Certifications:
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is essential.
Clearances: Must have up-to-date state clearances, including background checks, fingerprints, and TB testing if necessary.
