Are you a qualified Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing seeking a fulfilling remote position? VocoVision is looking for a remote DHH teacher in Wisconsin to provide crucial support to K-12 students through live videoconferencing. As an independent contractor, you'll be equipped with specialized software, training, and technical assistance to deliver effective educational services online.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Deaf Education or a related field
- Wisconsin teaching certification in Deaf Education
- Experience with virtual instruction and/or IEPs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide virtual instruction and support to DHH students tailored to their individual needs
- Collaborate with school teams, parents, and caregivers to develop and implement effective educational strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and services provided
- Support educational teams in understanding and meeting the needs of DHH students
VocoVision Requirements:
- Must provide your own liability and general insurance
- Must operate as an independent contractor
- Home computer with high-speed internet
- Passed basic tech screening
