Work-from-Home Opportunities for Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Wisconsin
VocoVision is seeking a full-time Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teachers to join one of our school districts for the 2024/2025 school year. This remote role offers the opportunity to provide critical support to students in underserved areas, ensuring they receive essential services through teletherapy.
Responsibilities:
- Responsibilities will vary as there are multiple openings
- Deliver virtual instruction to DHH students using a variety of instructional techniques and strategies.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Level Degree in Education for Teaching Deaf Students
- State Certification in DHH or Teaching Degree with endorsement or separate certification
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (preferred)
- Previous experience teaching DHH students in a virtual or blended learning environment preferred
VocoVision Requirements:
- Must carry professional liability insurance and operate as an independent contractor
- Home office setup including a computer with high-speed internet
- Comfortable with basic tech requirements and software tools for remote therapy sessions
