VocoVision is seeking a full-time Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teachers to join one of our school districts for the 2024/2025 school year. This remote role offers the opportunity to provide critical support to students in underserved areas, ensuring they receive essential services through teletherapy.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsibilities will vary as there are multiple openings
  • Deliver virtual instruction to DHH students using a variety of instructional techniques and strategies.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Level Degree in Education for Teaching Deaf Students
  • State Certification in DHH or Teaching Degree with endorsement or separate certification
  • Proficiency in American Sign Language (preferred)
  • Previous experience teaching DHH students in a virtual or blended learning environment preferred

VocoVision Requirements:

  • Must carry professional liability insurance and operate as an independent contractor
  • Home office setup including a computer with high-speed internet
  • Comfortable with basic tech requirements and software tools for remote therapy sessions
