Work from Home Special Education Teacher, New Hampshire
Job Type: Full-time, remote, 1099 Contract
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Special Education Teacher to work remotely with students in a school district in New Hampshire. As a remote Special Education Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic and personal development of students with special needs. This position allows you to work from the comfort of your home while serving the students directly in the classroom. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs, in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' strengths and areas requiring intervention.
- Design and deliver engaging and differentiated instruction tailored to individual students' needs, utilizing appropriate teaching strategies and materials.
- Collaborate with general education teachers and other school staff to support the inclusion of students with special needs in the general education curriculum.
- Provide ongoing monitoring and support to students, track progress, and make data-driven instructional decisions.
- Utilize effective remote teaching methods, including virtual classrooms, video conferencing, and digital learning platforms, to facilitate instruction and engagement with students.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting students' social-emotional development and well-being.
Qualifications:
- Master s degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Valid New Hampshire teaching certification in Special Education.
- At least two years of experience working with students with special needs.
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Passion for and commitment to the academic and personal growth of students with special needs.
