Position Overview:

Are you a passionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) looking for an exciting virtual opportunity? We are seeking a bilingual (Spanish/English) SLP to join our dynamic team for the 2024-2025 school year. This full-time role involves working with a caseload of 20 elementary students (K-5th grade) to help them achieve their communication goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct virtual speech and language assessments for elementary students (K-5).
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
  • Provide engaging and effective speech therapy sessions in both Spanish and English.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student progress and future goals.
  • Stay current with best practices and advancements in speech-language pathology and teletherapy.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid Illinois SLP license.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (required).
  • ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) Certification.
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children, preferably in a virtual setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a virtual caseload effectively.
  • Familiarity with virtual therapy platforms and technology.
