We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Work From Home Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to provide remote education and support to students across North Carolina. As a TVI, you will work with students of all ages to enhance their academic and functional skills, adapting lessons and materials to meet individual needs.

Responsibilities:

• Offer online instruction for students with visual impairments
• Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Alter curriculum and materials for accessibility
• Cooperate with parents, educators, and other professionals
• Track and document student progress and goals
• Provide guidance on assistive technologies and adaptive tools

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education with a focus on Visual Impairments
• North Carolina state licensure as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI)
• Prior experience with students who are blind or have low vision
• Ability to use online teaching tools and technology
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Comfortability working independently and managing a flexible online schedule
