To be considered for BCBA jobs, you must have a BCBA certification, there are several ways to become eligible for BCBA certification including earning a master’s degree from a program accredited by the Association of Professional Behavior Analysts (APBA), the Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI) or another recognized behavior analysis degree program and the completion of supervised fieldwork hours. Other routes to BCBA certification include specific behavior-analytic coursework, faculty teaching and research or postdoctoral experience. You must also pass the BCBA exam administered by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
