Occupational Therapist School Setting in Fort Worth, TX

An opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) with school-based experience to support students in the Fort Worth, TX area. This contract position requires expertise in delivering occupational therapy services within educational settings, focusing on individualized student needs and collaboration with school teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy evaluations and interventions for students in a school setting.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and attend Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings.
• Utilize Frontline systems for documentation and service tracking.
• Support students primarily in the Plano, Richardson, and Benbrook areas as part of service delivery.

Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license with school-based therapy experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of ARD/IEP processes and active participation in these meetings.
• Proficiency with Frontline or similar school healthcare management systems.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, families, and school staff.
• Ability to deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to each student's unique needs.
