Support a high-needs student as a 1:1 paraprofessional in a post-secondary transition classroom setting. This role provides dedicated assistance to help the student succeed in their educational environment, working closely alongside a special education teacher and another paraeducator.

Location: Hillsboro, OR
Type: Contract
Hours: 8:00 AM 3:30 PM (includes transportation time on the bus with the student)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one support to a high-needs student during classroom activities and transitions
• Assist with instructional activities under the guidance of the special education teacher
• Accompany the student on the bus to ensure safety and support throughout the commute
• Implement individualized support strategies tailored to the students specific needs
• Communicate effectively with teachers and other staff to promote a supportive and positive learning environment
• Monitor and assist with the students behavioral and social development

• Experience working as a paraprofessional, especially in special education settings
