Virtual School Audiologist | New Mexico
An opportunity is available for an experienced audiologist to deliver telehealth services in a school setting. This contract position is based in Albuquerque, NM, and focuses on providing specialized audiological support to students remotely.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting direct therapy sessions for approximately 8 hours per month via telehealth platforms
- Managing caseloads efficiently, including maintaining detailed and accurate documentation
- Completing necessary paperwork in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to develop tailored student plans
Qualifications:
- Current and valid New Mexico audiology certification is required
- Demonstrated experience in providing audiology services in educational environments
- Proficiency with telehealth technology and remote service delivery methods
- Strong organizational skills to manage case files and meet reporting deadlines
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and families
