Virtual School Audiologist | Illinois

A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Audiologist specializing in telehealth services within a school setting. This role requires expertise in providing comprehensive audiological evaluations and services remotely, ensuring students receive timely and effective hearing care despite geographical barriers.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting telehealth-based hearing assessments and screenings for students.
• Collaborating with educators and support staff to develop individualized plans for students with hearing impairments.
• Interpreting audiological test results and providing recommendations for interventions.
• Managing and maintaining accurate records of services provided.
• Advising on the use of hearing aids and assistive listening devices through virtual platforms.
• Offering counseling and support to students and families regarding hearing health.

Desired qualifications and experience:

• Current licensure as an Audiologist appropriate for practice within the state.
• Proven experience delivering audiology services via telehealth.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, families, and education professionals.
