Remote Audiologist in NM
A telehealth audiologist is sought to provide specialized support within a school setting located in La Mesa, NM. This contract position involves delivering essential audiology services remotely, combining direct therapy, case management, paperwork, and participation in IEP meetings to support student success.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting telehealth audiology sessions with students, providing direct therapy approximately 8 hours per month.
- Managing caseloads effectively by maintaining timely and accurate records.
- Collaborating with educators and school personnel during IEP meetings to develop and update individualized plans.
- Completing necessary paperwork and documentation in compliance with state regulations and school guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Must hold valid New Mexico audiology certification.
- Experience delivering telehealth services in an educational environment preferred.
- Strong organizational skills to manage case records and administrative tasks.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with students, families, and school staff.
- Familiarity with IEP processes and educational audiology standards.
