Remote Audiologist in NC
A contract position is available for an Audiologist specializing in telehealth services to support students in an educational setting. This role offers the opportunity to deliver remote hearing assessments, screenings, and consultations, supporting communication and learning outcomes for children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct telehealth audiological evaluations and screenings for students
- Collaborate with educational staff to develop individualized hearing plans
- Provide recommendations and follow-up care through virtual platforms
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with regulations
- Stay updated with current teleaudiology practices and guidelines
Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters or Doctorate degree in Audiology from an accredited program
- State license to practice Audiology, with telehealth certification preferred
- Previous experience delivering audiology services via telehealth is highly desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and school personnel
- Ability to manage caseloads and documentation independently
- Familiarity with technology platforms used for telehealth services
