A contracted opportunity is available for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in a school setting located in Reno, NV. This position focuses on providing behavior analysis services within an educational environment to support students' individualized behavioral and learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) tailored to students needs
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to implement evidence-based behavior strategies
- Monitor and analyze student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
- Provide training and consultation to school staff on behavior management techniques
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines
Qualifications:
- Current BCBA certification
- Experience working as a BCBA within school settings
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methodologies and best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with educators, students, and families
- Ability to manage multiple cases and maintain accurate documentation
