An immediate opening is available for a dedicated school counselor to support K-5 students at an elementary school in Ephrata, WA. This contract position requires on-site presence to address student behavioral needs and provide targeted counseling support. The role is essential in fostering a positive and supportive environment for young learners, helping to develop social skills and address behavioral challenges within the school community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct counseling support to students, focusing primarily on behavior management and social-emotional development.
• Conduct small group sessions to enhance social skills and peer interactions.
• Collaborate with school staff to develop strategies for student success.
• Participate in student evaluations and support planning as needed.
• Maintain confidential records and documentation related to counseling services.

• Experience working as a school counselor, preferably K-5.
