Remote Educational Diagnostician - Texas
Position Overview:
We are hiring a certified Remote Educational Diagnostician to support school districts across Texas. In this fully remote role, you'll conduct evaluations, collaborate on eligibility decisions, and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to help ensure all students receive the services they need for success.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct full and individual evaluations (FIEs) virtually to determine eligibility for special education services.

Analyze assessment data and generate clear, compliant reports in accordance with TEA and IDEA guidelines.

Participate in virtual ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings and present evaluation results to families and school teams.

Collaborate with teachers, campus staff, and multidisciplinary teams to support IEP development and implementation.

Stay current on Texas Education Agency (TEA) requirements and special education best practices.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with state and federal compliance standards.
Qualifications:

Masters degree in Special Education, Educational Diagnostics, or a related field.

Valid Texas Educational Diagnostician Certification required.

Minimum of 2 years of experience conducting special education evaluations in a school setting.

In-depth knowledge of IDEA, Texas special education regulations, and evaluation procedures.

Proficiency with digital assessment tools and virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Q-interactive, Pearson, Zoom, Teams).

Strong organizational and communication skills in a remote work environment.
Technology Requirements:

Familiarity with secure digital platforms for testing and documentation.
Preferred Experience:

Working with a variety of student populations, including bilingual and culturally diverse learners.

Familiarity with TEA audit procedures and documentation requirements.

Comfort managing a caseload across multiple campuses or districts.
