Virtual General Education Teacher | New Mexico

An educational professional is sought to provide general education instruction with a focus on telehealth services in a school environment located in Aztec, NM. This contract position requires expertise in general education teaching combined with the ability to support students through telehealth platforms. The role also includes responsibilities related to gifted education, specifically the review and approval of gifted Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and associated documentation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering general education curriculum effectively via telehealth and in-person settings.
• Collaborating with school staff to support student learning and development.
• Reviewing and signing off on gifted IEPs and ensuring that all gifted education documentation is complete and compliant with regulations.
• Supporting gifted education initiatives and providing specialized guidance for gifted students.
• Maintaining clear and accurate records related to student progress and compliance.

Desired qualifications and experience:

• Teaching certification in general education.
