School Occupational Therapist - Sunnyside, Washington

Provide occupational therapy services in a dynamic school setting located in Sunnyside, WA. This contract position offers an opportunity to support approximately 20 students across multiple sites, serving a diverse age range. This onsite role requires a dedicated professional who can collaborate with educators and families to enhance student outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized OT interventions tailored to student needs across various age groups
• Conduct assessments to develop and implement effective treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate therapeutic goals into educational environments
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning efforts

Qualifications:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based therapy
• Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 20 students
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse teams and families
• Familiarity with educational environment adaptations and assistive technologies
• Commitment to working onsite at multiple school locations within the district

Schedule:

• Approximately 24 hours per week
