Teletherapy Occupational Therapist | Vermont

An opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist specializing in school-based services with a focus on telehealth. This role involves providing therapeutic support to students within an educational setting, facilitating improved functional outcomes through assessment, intervention, and collaboration with educators and families.

Location: Bennington, VT
Schedule: Approximately 5 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services via telehealth and in-person sessions within the school environment.
• Conduct assessments to identify students needs and develop individualized intervention plans.
• Collaborate with school staff and families to support student participation and success.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services and progress notes in compliance with regulatory and school policies.
• Adapt therapeutic approaches to meet diverse student needs and learning environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist licensure applicable to the state of Vermont.
• Experience providing school-based occupational therapy services, including telehealth delivery.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students, families, and school personnel.
• Ability to work independently and manage a small caseload efficiently.
