Virtual Occupational Therapist - Remote, Rural Virginia

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Occupational Therapist to provide remote therapy services to studentsin rural Virginia. This role allows you to deliver high-quality occupational therapy from the comfort of your home, supporting K-12 students in developing essential skills for academic and daily living success.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual occupational therapy evaluations to assess client needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students goals.

• Deliver engaging and effective therapy sessions through teletherapy platforms.

• Monitor progress, document outcomes, and adjust treatment plans accordingly.

• Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to support holistic student development.

• Maintain compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations, including HIPAA and FERPA.

Qualifications

• Masters or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.

• Current Occupational Therapy license in the state of Virginia.

• Minimum of two years experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in educational settings.

• Experience or comfort with teletherapy and virtual platforms.

• Reliable computer and high-speed internet access.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
