Virtual Occupational Therapist - Maryland

A fully remote opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist specializing in telehealth services within the school setting. This contract position supports students through virtual platforms designed to enhance assessment and treatment delivery.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and interventions remotely using telehealth technology.
• Collaborating with educators and families to develop individualized treatment plans that meet students unique needs.
• Utilizing provided virtual tools, such as interactive learning materials and assessments, to track progress and adapt therapy approaches.
• Participating in virtual meetings via Zoom Pro to coordinate care and provide updates on student outcomes.
• Accessing clinical and technical support teams to ensure seamless service delivery and address any challenges related to the telehealth platform.

Qualifications:

• Current Occupational Therapy license and credentials to provide telehealth services in the necessary jurisdiction.
• Experience working in school-based settings, especially delivering therapy through telehealth.
• Proficiency with virtual communication platforms, including Zoom, and comfort with technology-based service models.
• Strong organizational and communication skills tailored to remote collaboration with students, families, and school staff.

Location: This is a 100% remote position, available to candidates located in or around Hyattsville, MD, or licensed to provide services in this area.
