Teletherapy Occupational Therapy | Oregon
A part-time opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist specializing in school-based telehealth services, located in John Day, OR. This role involves delivering teletherapy to support students across 4-5 small rural school districts through an Education Service District (ESD). The position requires a commitment of 12-15 hours per week, managing a caseload of 15-20 students.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing occupational therapy services via telehealth to students in school settings
- Conducting evaluations, treatment sessions, and consultations as required
- Collaborating closely with teachers and parents to support student progress
- Managing student minutes with some sessions occurring monthly and additional consultative support
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Previous experience in school-based occupational therapy is highly desirable
- Strong skills in delivering teletherapy and telehealth services for pediatric populations
- Ability to work effectively with rural districts and across multiple sites
- Excellent communication skills fostering collaboration with educational staff and families
