Virtual Occupational Therapist - Indiana
A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist specializing in school-based telehealth services. This role involves delivering virtual OT support for two elementary schools serving students in grades K-4 and 5-6. The position offers a full 40-hour workweek, providing consistent interaction with students and school staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual occupational therapy evaluations and interventions for students via teletherapy.
- Implement therapy plans tailored to individual student needs in accordance with IEP goals.
- Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams to develop and update IEPs.
- Monitor and document student progress regularly, adjusting treatment approaches as necessary.
- Manage Medicaid billing processes accurately and efficiently.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapy license with experience in pediatric and school settings.
- Proficiency in telehealth platforms and delivering remote therapy services.
- Knowledge of Medicaid billing procedures and compliance.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with school personnel and families.
- Ability to maintain detailed documentation for evaluations, treatment, and billing.
