Remote Occupational Therapist in MI

This contract opportunity seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings and telehealth services. The position involves providing occupational therapy support to students across multiple educational levels, including elementary, middle, and high school, with a focus on delivering interventions both in-person and via telehealth.

Location: Mason, MI

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy evaluations, interventions, and progress monitoring for students with diverse needs.
• Provide occupational therapy services on-site and through telehealth platforms for accessibility and flexibility.
• Collaborate with educators and school personnel to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and regulatory requirements.
• Support students in developing skills for academic and functional success.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience working in school settings providing OT services.
• Competency in delivering telehealth occupational therapy interventions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage effectively with students, families, and staff.
• Ability to manage caseloads, prioritize tasks, and adapt to varying student needs.

Schedule and Caseload:

• Approximately 20-25 hours per week, spread over 3 days.
• Services provided to around 32 students.
• Immediate start preferred.
