Teletherapy Occupational Therapist | Minnesota
A part-time occupational therapist role is available for virtual telehealth services supporting K-12 students in a school setting. This position focuses on delivering teletherapy interventions designed to enhance the developmental, functional, and educational outcomes for children via remote platforms.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Providing teletherapy sessions to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
- Collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Documenting treatment outcomes and maintaining accurate records in compliance with school and licensing requirements.
Qualifications and experience preferred for this role:
- Active Minnesota Occupational Therapist license and NBCOT certification.
- Graduation from an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy program.
- Successful completion of a Minnesota background check.
- Previous school-based OT experience is preferred or may be required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students and educational staff in a virtual environment.
