Teletherapy Occupational Therapy | Michigan

A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist specializing in school-based services, including telehealth and in-person interventions. This position supports students across multiple educational levels, providing essential therapy to enhance their educational experience.

Location:

• Okemos, MI

Work Schedule:

• 3 days per week, totaling 20-25 hours

Student Population:

• Working with approximately 32 students across various schools, including high school, upper and lower elementary, middle/high school, and elementary settings

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services via telehealth and onsite within school settings
• Collaborate with educational staff to develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
• Monitor student progress and adjust therapeutic approaches accordingly
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory and school district requirements
• Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and other professionals involved in student care

Qualifications:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based therapy
• Proficient in delivering services through telehealth platforms
• Strong understanding of child development and educational environments
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively
